The Regional Office for the Promotion of Industrial Occupations in Developing Countries is a training establishment of the Berlin Senate Department for Education, Youth and Science.
A major focus of training lies in the field of water management, the ecological and economical use of drinking and rainwater and the purification and reuse of domestic tap and waste water.
The second focus is on renewable energies.
The generation of energy with the aid of biogenic raw materials, the use of solar energy for thermal and photovoltaic solar power systems and the use of wind power are at the centre of the strongly action-orientated course. We believe that we have created a training option for all interested parties from the emergent and developing nations that reflects today's requirements for water management and the objective of sustainable development!
